STRIP FLASH is on a long losing streak dating back to March 2023, but he has hit a good mark and has been knocking on the door lately.

Streak Lightning hit the frame on three consecutive starts and still looked to be on form when he finished only eighth last time out at Thirsk in a race that did not go to his liking.

A strong pace is forecast here that should help this hold-up performer, and he can finally capitalize on a mark that is 8 pounds below the one he last surpassed.

LEADER was probably not easy to train, as he had to take a 15-month break before finishing second in Newcastle in October and has had to take a break for more than nine months since then.

However, Leadman, who has finished second in all three starts, is by far in the best form and this looks to be a good opportunity for the well-bred son of Kingman to break through.

Lattaash is by a Group 3 winner in Italy who has produced multiple winners and he is in excellent hands with Karl Burke so could prove to be the biggest threat on his debut.

ART DESIGN finished a respectable third in a much stronger event on her Kindergarten debut at Newmarket a few weeks ago and can use the drop in class to her advantage.

This well-bred filly, whose daughter is sister to multiple Group 1 winner Winter, could do even better after just four starts and her trainer William Haggas continues to have winning prospects in her line-up.

Legend of the Kings has attracted some attention in maiden and novice classes, including a fifth place finish here last month, and he still has the potential to develop further.

This slight extension of the journey time should benefit him on his handicap debut and the good form of James Ferguson also speaks in his favour.

Croeso Cymraeg seemed unlucky not to be closer to the finish when finishing third at Salisbury last month but should perform well so is another candidate to consider.

DURHAM CASTLE He performed well on his return to action at Yarmouth in May, finishing third, having been castrated and undergone ventilator surgery since his debut at Kempton in October.

The young horse race at Yarmouth was a decent contest and the form Durham Castle showed there is about the best there is.

He still has the potential to improve after just a few starts and is considered the one to beat.

ALIBI WARNING is still a maiden after ten starts but she came close to making a good start last time out at Wolverhampton when she was beaten by just a neck in class.

She had also put in a creditable performance on her previous appearance in a similar race when she finished third and returns to the handicap league with a promising record.

She receives the vote ahead of Nelson Rose, who clearly won a handicap in Brighton 11 days ago.

DUE DATE can look back on a successful year and has already won three times.

He disappointed last time out at Lingfield but perhaps he was not suited to the return to the grass and should be judged more favorably on the basis of his previous performances on all-weather pitches.

Here he can quickly get back on track.
